- prepare quarterly and half-yearly reports for National Bank of Romania;
- contribute to the preparation of monthly Group reporting package;
- compute and post the accruals for statutory and Group reporting purposes;
- prepare the banking and cash journal entries for statutory and Group reporting purposes;
- perform intercompany reconciliations on a monthly basis;
- perform monthly reconciliations between statutory and Group reporting package;
- perform monthly reconciliations between subledgers and trial balance;
- assist the chief accountant in supervising the activity of junior accountants;
- follow up the accounting policies and procedures in place and contribute to the development of new ones;
- communicate effectively with the rest of the departments to obtain timely information;
- carry on other tasks according to the needs of accounting department
- University graduate in economic field;
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience in a multinational environment, preferably in a Bank or IFN;
- Good computer skills (Word, Excel);
- Good command of English language;
- IFRS knowledge is an asset.
