- Manages the accounting & reporting of all financial transactions in accordance with local regulatory and Company’s requirements.
- Performs professional accounting or auditing work requiring knowledge of theory and practice of recording, classifying, examining, analysing and advising on financial transactions.
- Ensures that all transactions are accounted for in accordance with local regulations.
- Prepares information of economical characters regarding financial management, including operational & strategic decisions
- Establishes efficient & effective procedures of accounting.
- Responsibility for taxation matters.
- Deals with financial authorities & co-operates with Company’s auditors.
- Undertakes banking & treasury operations.
- Ensures that the business of the Company is adequately supported by quality and timely book-keeping.
- Prepares monthly financial statements, including distributing monthly revenue and expenditure reports.
- Assists with the preparation of the annual and mid-year budgets.
- Deals with the fiscal year-end and fixed asset accounting.
- Minimum five years experience in accounting;
- Excellent knowledge of Romanian accounting & tax issues, knowledge of international accounting standards will be an advantage;
- BSc degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent;
- Computer literate. Proficiency in MS Excel, spreadsheets;
- English speaker;
- Excellent organisation & analytical skills;
- The ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations;
- The ability to read, analyse and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations;
- The ability to work effectively within a team and as an individual
