- Ensuring a proper accounting according to the local legislation and according to the company's policy and procedures;
- Supporting the company’s management in all financial and accounting issues.
- Performing professional accounting work requiring theory and practical knowledge of recording, classifying, analyzing and advising on financial transactions;
- Ensuring compliance with tax regulations;
- Dealing with all taxation matters;
- Dealing with financial authorities;
- Preparing monthly accounting & financial statements according to RAS and US GAAP;
- Preparing and submitting the monthly declarations to the state authorities, as well as the statutory Romanian balance sheet reports;
- Being responsible for timely and accurate monthly closing process.
- University degree, preferably in accounting/finance;
- 3 -5 years accounting experience in a multinational company;
- Proven background of the Romanian accounting and tax issue;
- Experience in payroll accounting (calculation, payment, filing);
- Experience in data recalculation and reporting to a foreign mother company;
- High proficiency in using MS Office, spreadsheet applications and accounting software (experience with WizCount is an advantage);
- Fluent English (speaking and writing);
- Positive “can-do” attitude, self-starting and result oriented person;
- Analytical thinking;
- Excellent inter personal communication and organization skills;
- Able to work in a fast growing environment;
- Driving license (advantage).
