- Ensures the accuracy of all records according to the Romanian Accounting Standards and the company internal procedures;
- Prepares all the statutory statements (VAT, Corporate Tax, Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, other mandatory declarations);
- Reconciles all aspects related to the company transactions (Cash accounts, Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, Accruals, Prepayments etc...);
- Calculates all taxes according to statutory procedures;
- Is responsible in front of the external and internal audit for all accounting and fiscal recordings;
- Maintains updated and implements all legal procedures;
- Assists the Finance Manager in the preparation of the quarterly reporting package according to the US GAPP provisions;
- Prepares detailed reports for the management and for corporate controlling, including cost center analysis and cost by nature analysis;
- Assists the Finance Manager to design and implement the internal procedures.
- University degree in accounting/finance;
- Chartered accountant would be a plus;
- Minimum 2 years experience as Chief Accountant;
- Advanced knowledge of RAS and IAS/IFRS system;
- Solid fiscal knowledge;
- Planning, coordination and organizing skills;
- Good English communication, French would be a plus;
- Organized, dynamic, analytical, pro-active attitude, team player;
- Ability to work under pressure.
