For one of our clients, a multinational professional firm that provides assurance (including financial audit), tax, consulting and advisory services, we are looking for a Senior Accountant. Our client it is known to engage with like-minded organizations and individuals in order to deliver quality and excellence in everything they do.
Responsabilities:
Checking and validating that the entries in the local accounting system are in line with the applicable reporting requirements;
Performing month-end and year end closing operations in accordance with the statutory reporting requirements and regional/global policies;
Being responsible for the accruals and prepayments;
Mediating the local statutory accounting system and the reporting system;
Working with the client representative for the customization of the statutory ERP;
Reviewing the annual statutory financial statements and the half yearly accounting reports;
Identifying in time any possible accounting and tax compliance issues and communicate these to the manager and/or partner;
Coordinating the accounting assistant and provide guidance on the accounting and tax work.
University degree in Economics;
Excellent knowledge of English language;
3 to 4 years of experience as an accountant;
Experience in group accounting and management accounting;
Good knowledge and skills to understand and create customized reports to support reconciliations.
