Layout Engineer involved in physical design of complex mixed-signal circuits, in particular
- Floor planning, placement, routing, power routing, clock tree optimization and timing fixing using Synopsys tools
- Coordination of layout deliveries
- Optimization of chip and module areas
- Extraction for post layout timing analysis, interface to STA responsible
- IRDrop analysis and power routing optimization
- Compliance with chip card specific criteria (Security, ESD, Power Supply)
- Layout review and verification with Calibre-Tools (DRC, LVS, ERC)
- Auxiliary layout checks (antdrc, netchecks)
- Order and release of product specific masks for tape out.
- Support for Focused-Ion-Beam preparations
•Qualification required:
- BSEE degree with 3 years experience in semi-custom layout of digital top-level products
•Experience required:
- 3 years proven performance track in semi-custom layout of digital top-level products.
- Proficiency with versioning systems and scripting languages is required
- ICC and Calibre-Tools knowledge highly desired
- UNIX know-how desired
- Digital Design and VHDL knowledge is an advantage
