RESPONSABILITATI

EA Security and Risk management is seeking a Security Operations Centre (SOC) Engineer who is self-motivated and possesses excellent communication skills. The primary responsibility is to support the Security operations team providing physical and network security to it’s infrastructure across all EA locations in Europe and Asia.
The Security Operations Centre Engineer will report to the SOC Supervisor and will have the following primary responsibilities:

These will include any or all of the following, as required by the SOC Supervisor:

Adhere to EA policies and procedures.
Meet support standards as established by service level agreements.
Provide real time monitoring, analysis and resolution of network security problems, using tools provided.
Resolve trouble tickets and keep records updated.
Design and implement change requests and keep records updated.
Interfacing with external vendors for timely completion of client issues.
Act as Technical Client Advocate for specific customers and stakeholders
Escalate to SSE or on-call engineer where required .
Perform handover etween SOCs at beginning and end of shift
Administer customer records in Remedy ticketing system MSaaS enrolments (Managed Security as a Service)
Answer incoming phone calls
Answer incoming emails
Ongoing development through formal and informal training and lab activities
Any other duties allocated by SOC Supervisor


CERINTE

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to plan effectively and complete his/her own workload. He/she must be detail oriented, able to work independently with good inter-personal and customer service skills and with the ability to communicate and present clearly and confidently to colleagues. He/she have the following skills/experience:

Experience in a technical discipline with or without accompanying qualifications,
Two years experience in an information security or technology role
Some experience in a customer service environment
Good diagnostic/troubleshooting skills
Good understanding of principles and practice of Information Security
Good understanding of IP networks and technologies
Available to work flexible working hours.
Available to work early and late shifts (5 days/week) on a rota basis
Available to work on-call on a rota basis if necessary
Good telephone manner
Spoken and written English language ( French, Spanish and German desirable but not essential)
Team player, but has initiative while willing to ask for help if required
Keen to learn
