For our international METRO Group wide Portal and WebSolutions we are looking for a Second Level Support and Test Engineer.
Your area of responsibility includes a multitude of tasks, like ticket analysis and dispatching from our international customers. Furthermore problem and root cause analysis as well as specifications for bugfixing are within the scope of this position. You also support the development teams with definition and execution of module tests and thus care for top quality in our products.
You are in contact with the First Level Support at our customer and act as single point of contact.
You are responsible for:
- Problem identification
- Problem classification
- Problem analysis and solution
- Problem dispatching (routing) to responsible Third Level Support organization units
- Test definition, execution and documentation
- Targeted support including information of organizational units
- Problem/ incident reporting with trend analysis
As a perspective support in international deployment projects for rollout and deployment of our solutions is an option.
- University degree, preferable in IT or related area
- Ideally 1-2 years of job experience in support and testing area
- Experienced in Application administration
- Knowledge of QA principles
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Able to work independent as well as part of a team
- Good English language skills
- German language knowledge would be a plus
- Detail and result oriented
- Customer and service oriented
- Availability to travel abroad
