Daily tasks:
- Performs the most challenging tasks in the area of sea cargo export/import
shipments, booking and delivering of shipments;
- Maintains agents relationships in accordance with the company’s policy
- Pricing and calculation - makes offers to customers;
- Accepts offers and optimises the organisation of transport;
- Is responsible for results of the department;
- Monitors the keeping of budget lines;
- Sets targets with the department and monitors the achievement;
- Handles claims together with the legal department;
- Trains and mentors high potentials in operations and sales.
Requirements:
- Leadership and organizing ability;
- Commercial education or special education in freight forwarding;
- Excellent communication skills, with English as the minimum required foreign language;
- Experience in freight forwarding or working within shipping lines: at least 3 years;
- Experience in project cargo would be a huge asset;
- Strong negotiations skills;
- Commercial thinking;
- Pro active;
- Structured person;
- Motivating;
- Dynamic.
