The Sales Support Manager is responsible for the overall coordination of the business development and sales support activities within Europe for Mobile Communications, in close relation with the customer programs, Customer Account Teams (CAT), Global Key Account Managers (KAM) and Alcatel Local Unit management.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:
1. Promoting Alcatel's Mobile Communications Group (MCG) products/solutions in order to maximize orders & sales
2. Managing the Market Attack Plan for the assigned accounts
3. Providing Sales Support to the CAT within the European countries, up to the contract negotiations and signature. This includes:
- Defining, jointly with the CAT, the commercial strategy for all projects.
- Managing the legal, fiscal, and financial aspects
- Ensuring that the Risk Assessment process is properly applied
- Submitting offers to Area/Customers
- Organizing offer defense and clarifications
The job is based in BUCHAREST and involves short duration international business trips
1. Technical University Degree
2. Telecom knowledge: Radio, Switching and Transmision Systems, UMTS, NGN, Mobile Kiosk, WiMax, Mobile Applications (Video, PRBT, Convergent payment)
3. Working Experience (3-5 years), ideally in:
- Mobile Networks (BSS, NSS) design and architecture
- Pre-sales or post-sales experience in Wireless Telecommunications
- Project Management
- Sales Experience in a multi-product environment is a plus
4. Good communication and customer relation skills
5. English - advanced level. French is a plus
