Holding employs more than 350 people and achieves an annual turnover of 30 million EUR.
The Sales Manager (to become a Managing Director) will be fully in charge of our Romanian affiliate.
He/she is responsible for the daily sales operations and overall success and expansion of the Romanian market.
Responsibilities:
- Taking full responsibility for the daily operations of the region within the limitations of authority
- Expanding sales operations to the Romanian market, starting with fire extinguishers from stock
- Finding and employing people
- Managing / leading all employees
- Increasing the market share
- Developing the long-term sales strategy for the market
- Building up and maintaining quality oriented customer relations
- Complying with Holding's profit targets, cost control, control of working capital
- After successful achievement of market entrance targets (organizing company's sales department; sales network through key customers; annual sales contracts), the Sales Manager will be promoted to Managing Director with increased authority and benefits
The candidate is:
- Romanian nationality / alternatively strong affinity to the Romanian market
- Has technical education on an academic level with economic background (possibly MBA), or otherwise sales education with high technical understanding.
- Fluent in English and Romanian
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience in international oriented companies (ideally in the area of fire fighting products)
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience in sales (ideally in the area of fire fighting products) with proven sales record.
- Excellence in sales skills (achieved in training and/or sales experience)
- Experience in management positions in relevant industries (sales manager, area sales manager, head of division, general manager)
- Profound knowledge of and working experience in the Romanian market
- Ideally some professional experience or good contacts within Fire Fighting Community in Romania.
