Responsibilities
• Promoting the company products and consulting customers regarding the most cost effective
formwork and scaffolding solutions.
• Identifying potential customers and establishing relationships.
•
• Preparing and presenting offers to the clients.
• Conducting sales meetings with clients and negotiating contracts that are profitable for the Company.
• Attending to each project and offering technical and commercial support during the construction.
• Providing all relevant project information to other departments as soon as available.
• Technical and commercial support.
• Market entry strategy and business plan.
• Developing and implementing an overall sales strategy for the Romanian market.
• Achieve the company targets for revenue on the Romanian Market, focusing on major projects
• in Romania.
• Develop and implement the overall sales strategy in Romania, maintain up-to-date records,
• develop monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts including revenues by products, customers and
• prospects.
• Strongly participate in and support the process of establishing our company organization in
• Romania.
• Expand the customer base and generate sustainable growth in terms of revenue and profit.
• Acquire key accounts and key projects.
• Oversee and guide key events such as exhibitions and large scale customer seminars.
• Market research & business development focusing on selected projects.
• Closely monitor and develop relationships with major customers.
• Perform sales calls on prospective and existing customers.
• Communicate and closely collaborate with engineering and sales support departments.
On behalf of our client, a major manufacturer of formwork and scaffolding we are looking for a Sales Manager.
Requirements:
• 5 to 10 years’ sales management experience in the formwork industry and market, including experience with major projects and a sales record.
• Bachelor degree with focus on civil engineering or construction preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, follow up and negotiation skills.
• Takes initiative, manages time effectively, and manages or adjusts priorities based on market
• demands.
• In-depth knowledge of the Romanian construction industry and code of practice.
• Excellent communication skills including command of English.
• Self-motivated team player with a high work ethic, able to work under pressure and completely
• independently in a result-driven environment.
