-To maintain and develop the Building & Construction division¿s sales margin mix and market share in line with the approved budget through the effective management within the territory,
-Develop excellent working relationships with customers through the implementation and maintenance of key account management principles,
-Facilitate necessary and appropriate sales support to market sector channels and develop a prioritised workload to achieve key objectives,
-Build contacts with key partners and end user supplier/customer base and develop both referral and direct sales of the company¿s product range,
-Sell in to customers new product lines and improve the product sales mix and margin of existing accounts,
-Identify opportunities and implement strategies to capitalise on new business prospects to achieve market share gains,
-Ensure the effective use and management of the inflow of sales leads from specification leads, technical enquiries and Marketing and PR enquiries,
-Identify / deliver / facilitate both product and sales training for customers on the use of products,
-Produce weekly / monthly reports on progress against sales and performance targets and projections for current and future projects,
-To develop and build good working relationships within the department and with other departments within the business.
-Graduate calibre, formal qualification in a construction related discipline preferred. Educated to a fluent standard of English, second language (German) preferred,
- At least 3 years as a sales manager in a similar field dealing with recognised brands, promoting and selling technical products, preferably to the construction sector,
- Strong communication skills, assertive, self-motivated, strong commercial and sales capability, able to work to deadlines without constant supervision,
- Good IT skills including familiarity with e-mail, presentation, spreadsheet, planning, reporting software.
