Maersk Romania is currently seeking candidates for the SALES EXECUTIVE, Maersk Logistics - Bucharest.
Reporting to the Country Logistics Manager, the Sales Executive will be responsible for promotion of sales activities pertaining to Romania, in close cooperation with the Country Sales Manager.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
-To perform all the sales related activities within ITM Department of Maersk Logistics Romania;
- Grow sales through development of new and existing clients
- Utilize all available resources to strengthen your relationship with clients
- Contribute towards development and implementation of marketing plans
- Constantly pursue and find new potential subcontractors who can improve our service package
- Participate in the planning and execution of visits to the existing and new potential clients
- Be responsible in following and meeting the Key Performance Indicators as per the set targets
- Assist in implementing and/or correcting the internal procedures, in accordance with the worldwide standards and SOP-s of Maersk Logistics network
- Reinforce A.P.Moller-Maersk Group culture, value and reputation and ensure compliance with the A.P.Moller-Maersk Group policies.
Required background and experience:
-Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in airfreight or seafreight
- Experience in an international environment
- Knowledge of Customs legislation and procedures (it is an advantage)
- Good shipping knowledge
- University degree
- Proficiency in English
- Good command of PC applications
- Ability to work under pressure, independently, with initiatives
- Customer & result oriented
- Excellent communication and negotiations skills
- Good analytical skills
- Clean driving license
- Flexibility to travel
