This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-established international company, one of the main international players in its field of activity. Your main responsibilities as a SALES ENGINEER will be:
Generating sales for the Southern area, meeting agreed sales targets;
Promoting the efficient use of steam to achieve energy savings throughout Romanian Industry by providing technical consultancy;
To cooperate, support, motivate and coordinate with the appointed local distributor and ensure appropriate technical training of their engineers as required;
Visiting steam using organizations regularly to provide technical advice on aspects of steam plant and process efficiency, making recommendations for improvements as appropriate;
Contribute to the planning of sales activities;
Contribute to the preparation of product and technical sales literature in the Romanian language;
Prepare reports of customer visits and report on specific activities required, monitor competitor’s activity;
Communicating effectively with other elements of the organization, including the Export Departmen,l Technical and Commercial teams, Marketing and Engineering Departments and Associate Companies involved in international projects.
The successful candidate should have the following attributes:
Sound technical skills
Ability to solve problems technically and commercially
Practical experience with understanding of steam and steam products
Ability to engineer a project from concept/potential to installation
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work on own initiative
Priorities tasks to maximize efficiency and service
Understanding use of Autocad, Excel, Powerpoint, Word
Freedom to travel throughout Romania resulting in days/nights away from home.
Availability to work home-based.
