TechTeam Akela is looking for a team of software design engineers for telecommunication network equipment.
Tasks description:
- Understanding the system requirements and functionality of the target system (UMTS/WCDMA RNC);
- Design and development of User-Plane applications on Radio Network Controller on DSP (TI);
- Write and review development specification documents;
- Module testing;
- Analysis of failure reports from different verification levels;
- Close co-operation with other sites, synchronization of development work with remote teams.
Qualifications:
- Very good Programming skills (esp. C/C++);
- Experienced DSP programmer on TI;
- 3G system knowledge, especially User plane and Telecom stack(PDCP, MAC, RLC, PDCP);
- Know-how of OSEck (real time OS);
- Analytical thinking;
- Communication skills in English required;
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team;
- Proactive and decisive;
- Understanding of IPA platform is a plus.
