-Developing and delivering Risk & Governance policies and procedures across the business in Romania;
-Ensuring that strategic and business risks are identified, objectively assessed and managed through the effective risk management;
-Providing risk management advice, support and challenge to management within the company;
-Providing effective and timely delivery of Risk Reporting to local Senior Management and Group level;
-Ensuring alignment with Group's Risk Management framework and infrastructure;
-Ensuring appropriate frameworks are in place to provide effective financial control and management and other business risk;
-Identifying the risk zones from the company, as well as the risks attached to their activity;
-Preventing and reporting of money laundering;
-Preventing and investigating of money fraud;
-Preparing compliance reports for the controlled activities;
-Supervising of compliance officers’ activity.
For one of our clients, the most experienced company active in the challenging and fast-moving environment of life insurance, we are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic person for the Risk and Compliance Manager role.
-University degree – in Accounting or Finance;
-Minim 3 years of relevant risk management experience (preferably in financial services);
-Practical experience of operating risk and governance frameworks;
-Good understanding of effective risk & governance practices;
-Very good written, presentational and oral communication both in Romanian and English;
-Proficiency in MS Office;
-Problem-solver, organized, interpersonal skills;
-Accustomed to working with large Group governance related policies and Group standards and methods represents an asset.
