Wireless Mobile Systems department with FREESCALE SEMICONDUCTOR ROMANIA develops leading software solutions and advanced embedded design tools for Freescale’s 3G cellular platforms.
RF software developer – works on development for advanced host and embedded applications for RF chipset bring-up and validation
In close cooperation with the Hardware development teams of various subdivisions and key customers, you will be responsible for developing RF test system software for 3GPP mobile radio standards. You will also be responsible for conducting requirements analyzes for designing complex system software for measurement and control functions. You will implement, integrate, and test specified software components, create related development documentation, and contribute to the validation of the test systems.
- University degree in electrical engineering with emphasis on communications engineering, or degree in information science with emphasis on electrical engineering
- Professional experience in software engineering
- Excellent C/C++/Labview programming skills
- Basic knowledge of 3GPP mobile radio standards
- Basic knowledge of RF engineering
- Willingness to be part of international development teams
- Results- and service-oriented team player
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
