The position is within IDC's Romania team and involves research into the trends and dynamics of the hardware markets in Romania. For this position, a native Romanian speaker with excellent written and spoken English is required. The analyst will conduct primary and secondary research and data collection; analyze business and market trends; work with quantitative market sizing and forecasting analytical tools; prepare thorough and well-organized reports, and contribute to consulting engagements. The analyst will also play a support role in business development by building and maintaining industry relationships and assisting in sales efforts.
A university degree is required. Relevant work experience is strongly preferred, and may include market and/or equity research in the IT field; or research, marketing or sales at an IT provider or vendor.
