We are searching for a colleague to join us as
Requirement Engineer with PHP knowledge
in our Bucharest-based development team.
She/he should be an experienced web (PHP) developer who will play the role of a Requirement Engineer in our team.
You will work in a professional software development team
-responsible for the development of a world-class innovative product: 1&1 MyWebsite (http://mywebsite.1and1.com). Your work will affect over 200.000 businesses from all over the world;
-where product competitiveness and quality comes naturally.
And, most important of all, you will be a part of our young and dynamic ePublishing Applications Romania team.
As part of our team you will …
-support Product Owner translating functional requirements into use cases / stories
(i.e., translates functional requirements into use cases / stories which are understood by developers in production team);
-be responsible for initial high level effort estimation reflected in prioritized product backlog;
-work with the architect and the team to prove technical integrity;
-contribute to create an environment based on the engineering best practices;
-able to support the team on various technical implementations by taking an active developer role.
If you have:
Requirement engineering or related experience:
-in creating and validating functional requirements based on multiple perspectives;
-in communicating the requirements specifications with stakeholders.
Front-end & UX knowledge:
-in web Front-end, GUI development and usability;
-in innovative user interface concepts and paradigms of interaction;
-in current web technologies standards, and conceptual & visual design trends.
Technical expertise:
-excellent knowledge of web applications development;
-excellent knowledge of PHP 5 (at least 3 years of experience);
-experience with at least one major PHP framework;
-solid understanding of OOP, best practices and design patterns;
-basic SQL knowledge and experience with at least one RDMS and one PHP ORM;
-basic JavaScript knowledge;
-basic Linux knowledge.
Also, you should have:
-good communication skills and enthusiastic attitude;
-an orientation toward product competitiveness and quality;
-openness to learn and work with new technologies, tools and processes;
-very good command of the English language;
-readiness to travel abroad.
Would be a plus:
-experience related to online website builders development;
-experience with modeling/data flow diagrams/UML notations;
-experience related to online website builders development;
-experience with Selenium;
-knowledge of Web Security practices;
-experience with Zend Framework;
-experience with source code versioning (Subversion);
-knowledge of Regular Expressions;
-experience with mobile devices frontend development;
-knowledge of German language.
