The Oracle Partner Network (OPN) is a program that delivers benefits to over 17,000 Oracle Partners worldwide. The goal of the program is to enable partners to sell and influence the sales of Oracle Software. One set of those benefits is Education: online product, sales and implementation training, access to in-class training, local events, and special partner training offerings. Those resources are accessed by the OPN Portal (http://partner.oracle.com).
The OPN Competency Center Enablement Team is responsible for maintaining and delivering the education content to the partners via the OPN Portal.
The Reporting specialist would be joining the already existing team of training content managers and providing detailed reports on the use of the education and other enablement materials by Oracle partners. These reports will serve the internal Alliance and Channels Executives as well as regional teams. The Reporting Specialist will also be responsible for providing operational assistance to the Alliances and Channels initiative team and contributing to the building of systems designed to enhance the reporting needs of the department.
The ideal candidate for this job will have mastery level of MS Excel, strong database understanding and prior experience pulling reports, strong English written ability, excellent problem solving skills, and an attention to details.

Responsibilities include:
Reporting:
¿ Participate in and get consensus on establishing a reporting framework with management, and team members and submit for approval.
¿ Report on online education classes taken by Oracle partners on a monthly basis by querying the learning data mart
¿ Report on Instructor led training classroom days attended by Oracle partners on a quarterly basis
¿ Report on OPN web site utilization, by using query tools (Site Catalyst)
¿ Eliminate duplicates in all reports
¿ Consolidate, analyse data as per agreed format
¿ Publish all reports on the internal web site ¿ my.oracle.com ¿
¿ Input all training reports into self service report query tool on the OPN Competency Center
¿ Report on education taken by Oracle partners in specific initiatives on request
¿ Design and produce special reports for segmented partner activities
¿ Maintain reports on the consumption of free training vouchers and report on the costs associated with these
¿ Establish reporting system to track Oracle partner accreditation and certification
¿ Keep report and content inventory on the OPN Competency Web site and provide to team members for follow up

Communication:
¿ Establish and maintain site on ¿ my.oracle.com ¿
¿ Contribute reports to monthly internal and external newsletters
¿ Work with Oracle University to examine ways of enhancing global reporting needs
¿ Establish Service Level Agreement with internal teams on reporting needs and priorities
¿ Participate in conference calls with worldwide and regional content managers and developers
¿ Train other team members when required


CERINTE

- University degree (Business, Finance, Accounting, Education a plus)
- 3-5 years professional experience in a similar job function
- Excellent organizational skills
- Good analytical skills-- ability to resolve complex processing problems
- Understanding of reporting through database systems
- Ability to manage deadlines with all levels of the organization
- Excellent verbal and written English communication
- Self confident, self starter¿ not afraid to speak up to share ideas
- Ability to create processes, implement them under a deadline
- Must be able to multi-task, share job responsibilities with other team members
- Team player ¿ ability to work in team while prioritizing overall workload
- Ability to prioritize workload and work under pressure
