The position will be within General Ledger Department of the European region Shared Service Center of the Company, and will get an assignment for certain team within SSC, using a specific Chart of Accounts and following some specific procedures and accounting policies, mainly on IFRS to produce Group Reporting, and to produce local Statutory Report upon local European country GAAP in subsidiary level.
Responsibilities:
This position will manage all accounting activity within the division and support management by providing accurate and timely information.
1. Manage the general ledger, including month-end close activities and preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports for the group and local statutory report, and coordinate to provide accurate tax accounting to fulfill local statutory reporting and/or tax requirements, including notes if necessary;
2. Assure that analysis of all accounts is performed in a timely manner, proper controls have been applied;
3. Maintain compliance with Internal policies/regulations and processes’ requirements and develop/refine policies and procedures, with continuous focus on process improvement;
4. Analyze complex accounting issues and resolve accordingly;
5. Manage to deeply involved in annual auditing (Group Auditing and Local Statutory Auditing) with external auditors throughout coordination/communication within company;
6. Strive to implement and perform internal control procedures in order to help ensure the reliability and integrity of financial and operational information.
- Work experience: at least 5 years in accounting area with 2 years in Reporting area;
- At least 4 years management experience with management span over 15 peoples;
- Education: graduate in finance and/or accounting;
- Good control of English, including commerce & accounting in both speaking and writing;
- Experience in a multinational company is not a must but will also be an asset, Share Service Center experience is preferred;
- Experience in an ERP System will be a +. If Oracle: ++;
- Expert with IFRS. One or more local European GAAP knowledge will be preferred;
- Good computer skills (At least MS Office);
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Able to work under time and activities pressure, when necessary;
- Able to organize related team members tasks;
- Able to act as coordinator to fulfill common tasks;
- Adaptable, team player and collaboration;
- Technical expertise on accounting field;
- Available for business trips will be an opportunity (not mandatory).
