Job responsibilities will include :
- Reviews and approves of the activities of the Accounting and Control and Audit Division engaged in general accounting, budget control, internal audit, payroll and accounting systems, directs the preparation of required fiscal reports, including the annual statement, an annual inventory, and monthly financial status report;
- Administers and directs the activities of the Data Processing, Accounting, Control and Audit, and Revenue, Taxation and Treasury Divisions of the Finance Department by reviewing work load levels and operating methods to set priorities for major projects and for daily operations.
- Ensures complete and up-to-date operating procedures for all accounting and financial controls.
- Assists in the preparation of annual budgets and cash flow projections.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Advanced Degree in Finance or Accounting, minimum 5 years of experience in senior-level finance or accounting position, and a CPA or international equivalent.
- Thorough understanding of international accounting, bookkeeping, and financial management information requirements. generally accepted accounting practices, procedures and standards; policy and procedure development techniques; principles and practices of supervision, the application of automated systems; principles of cost/benefit analysis; fiscal monitoring and control mechanisms; functions of revenue, expenditures and collections
