• Managing the development of software modules for Broadband Wireless base station. Modules include IP networking protocols, IP data processing and network management protocols.
• Managing a team of 5-10 SW developers
• The team is in charge of developing software modules for the next generation WiMAX base station of Alvarion and involved in developing a cutting-edge mobile wireless networks technology.
• Responsibility for design and implementation of modules the team owns.
• Responsible for mentoring and building-up technical skills of engineers in the team.
• BS. In Computer Science or Electronic Engineering – 5 or more years of experience
• Strong background in Real-Time SW development
• Vast experience in ‘C’ and ‘C++’
• Experience in IP Networking and data communication protocols – TCP/IP and Layer 2
• Experience in developing communication systems
• Experience in developing SW for network processors – an advantage
• Experience in Freescale Power-PC processors – an advantage
• Linux OS Experience & Kernel development – an advantage
• VxWorks OS Experience – an advantage
• Managerial Experience – an advantage
• WiMAX knowledge – an advantage
• Fluent English
