You will manage a local R&D dedicated team – consisting of a Project Manager, A Testing Team Leader, a SW Engineering team, a Test Engineering team – and work closely with the Marketing Department, as well as other teams, local or remote. You will manage the project over entire cycle, from initial product specifications and up to follow-up after commercial release and will have complete responsibility for the entire project.

Part of your responsibilities will be:
- Apply your exceptional leadership skills in managing all project resources
- Develop and maintain the project plan from start to finish, to achieve the predetermined objectives
- Manage the scope, cost, schedule and assess the quality of the contractual deliverables
- Apply techniques for planning, tracking, change control, and risk management
- Establish an effective communication plan and provide day-to-day directions to the project teams
- Provide regular project status updates
- Provide feedback on methodology improvement/customization and share new tools to enhance processes
- Facilitate sharing best practices, with documentation of best practices and lessons learned
The successful candidate will have:
- At least 3 years of proven experience in managing large teams and complex projects in mobile networks or telecom SW, in a multinational environment
- Excellent personal leadership skills, results-driven attitude that empowers the team, and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle complex interfaces, innovative thinking when approaching complex tasks
- Excellent communication skills proven in getting and giving information
- Knowing and understanding group needs & resources and strict control over all activities
- Solid business understanding that will lead you take the right decisions
- High experience with the latest project management tools and methodologies
- Strong system overview, technical intuition, capability to enter fast detailed technical topics
- BS. In Computer Science or Electronic Engineering – 8 or more years of experience
- Proven managerial experience in developing real time embedded SW solutions
- Strong methodological background in Real-Time SW development
- Experience in IP Networking and data communication protocols – TCP/IP and Layer 2
- Fluent English
- Flexible, open minded individual

- Experience in Freescale Power-PC processors – an advantage
