Job Description:
You will manage the R&D Infrastructure group that belongs to Alvarion Romania R&D center. The group is built of several teams who are performing RF Integration, Solutions Integration, Radio Design, Automation, Alpha Outdoor and IT & Network Administration and who are providing services to the internal project groups. Your main mission will be to manage the teams and ensure that all projects are executed within the assigned targets.

Your main responsibilities will be:
- Manage the teams
- Manage the scope, quality, cost & time of the projects
- Coordinate with all project resources, including subcontractors and provide day-to-day direction to the project teams
- Provide feedback on methodology improvement/customization and share new tools to enhance processes
The successful candidate will have:
- Very strong personal leadership skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in managing teams and projects in a multinational telecom environment
- Ability to handle complex interfaces, in a dynamic environment, innovative thinking when approaching complex tasks
- Results-driven attitude that empowers the team
- Excellent English skills
- Technical background in networking and/or in radio technology systems and wireless systems
- Knowledge in mobile & wireless networks such as: GSM, CDMA, 3G (3GPP), HSDP, EVDo, LTE, WiFi & WiMAX would be an asset
