ISG Personnel Management is looking for his client (an Austriac Construction Company) a :
Quantity Surveyor - Roads and bridges¿¿¿ review designs and plans drawn up by an architect or engineer;
- calculating quantities and types of materials to be used and work out timing costs and labor costs involved in the project;
- building contracting use this information to work out their budget and estimate costs;
- ensuring timely progress and budget reports;
- overseeing the progress work and check that costs do not exceed the agreed amount ensure that costs are kept to the agreed amounts;
- organizing tenders from contractors and providing advice to clients on legal and contractual matters;
- uses computers extensively for calculations, preparing work schedules, report writing and record keeping.
PROFILE:
- FIDIC
- Advanced (5-10 years experience in quantity surveying);
- Material cost saving experience by revising the project design;
- Fluency in English;
- Good analytical thinking, problem solving and communication skills;
- Leadership skills.
STUDIES:
Technical University, Specialization degree in constructions roads and bridges;
Any other technical and management certification is an advantage.
SKILLS:
- PC literacy (MS Office);have a sound knowledge of building construction techniques and materials;
- good IT skills and an aptitude for maths;
- methodical approach to work;
- well organized;
