- Preparing tender and contracts documents, including bills of quantities;
- Calculating quantities and types of materials to be used and work out timing costs and labor costs involved in the project;
- Estimating the costs of materials, services and equipment;
- Lead, plan and execute cost estimating, forecasting and reporting;
- Preparing quotations for various types of contracts in the construction field;
- Interpret and interface with Project Planners and integrating the quantitative scope and value of works and activities with the project schedule;
- Overseeing the progress work and check that costs do not exceed the agreed amount ensure that costs are kept to the agreed amounts;
- Calculate a prediction of the likely progress rate and completion rate of the project.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related technical discipline;
- Min. 3 years experience in quantity surveying;
- Good command of English, both spoken and written;
- Organizational and planning abilities;
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
- Able to work as part of a team;
- Proactive, capable of independent work.
