The Romanian Video team is looking for highly-motivated and skilled people to join the quality assurance team. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for contributing to software specifications, designing test plans, and assuring that the project modules meet the required quality standards. You have to be knowledgeable in web architectures and familiar with high-performing, highly-available web services. You will be reporting directly to the Engineer Manager of the team.

Job description
The quality engineer we are looking for is focused on the customer needs, is working in the client's best interest and is always bringing constructive ideas for making our products and services better and better.
On this job, you:
- Make sure the project meets the quality expectations of the end-user and the company standards
- Work closely with the software developers to design product specifications
- Write and maintain test specifications
- Write and execute automated test procedures
- Perform user, workflow and scenario testing
- Communicate effectively with other quality engineers
For this job we are searching for people with:
- 2 to 3 years of industry experience
- At least 2 years experience in quality assurance
- Ability to understand and interpret product specifications
- Proficient in at least one scripting language
- Familiar with various automated testing tools (JUnit, JMeter, Selenium) and procedures.
- Familiarity with performance testing (load, stress) represents a plus
- Knowledge of service oriented architectures and web technologies (HTTP, Java, PHP, .NET, etc )
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Experience working with bug-tracking applications is a must.
- Good time management skills
- Good problem solving and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication skills
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
