As a Quality Engineer in the Adobe Pass team, you will help us make sure the project meets the quality expectations of the end-user and the company standards. You will help the team improve, evolve and extend the platform to work from desktop to devices and game consoles. On this job you will:
o Create and execute test plans
o Design and write manual or automated tests
o Run manual or automated test cases and report the findings
o Work closely with the development counterpart
o Develop small applications to use for testing or demo purposes
o Interact with the Adobe Pass customers to support their development efforts
o Investigate and recommend ways to improve product functionality, usability, reliability performance and security
o Participate in product requirements and development sessions using testing approaches and best practices to contribute to design decisions and to ensure seamless integration of new features with current system functionality;
For this job we are searching for people with:
* Education in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent; (B.S. or M.S. degree is a plus)
* Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance
* Passion for web technologies, sharp eye for detail and critical thinking abilities
* Ability to easily learn new technologies
* Good knowledge of software testing fundamentals.
* Good understanding of common testing methodologies and ability to apply them.
* Ability to understand and interpret product specifications
* Good problem solving and diagnostic skills, experience with troubleshooting.
* Relevant experience in working with web technologies
* Knowledge of at least one scripting language
* Familiar with automated testing tools
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Fluent in English both verbal and written
We consider a plus:
* Experience in developing test automation frameworks
* Relevant experience in working with and developing applications based on Java/ ActionScript / JavaScript
* Testing and / or developing mobile applications
* Working in a Scrum team or in an Agile environment
* Working with remote teams
