By joining Adobe Media Player Team in Romania you will be part of the team that will contribute to the process of shaping and deciding tomorrow's products and technologies. The quality engineer we a re looking for is focused on the customer needs, is working in the client's best interest and is always bringing constructive ideas for making our products and services better and better.
On this job, you:
- Will make sure the project meets the quality expectations of the end-user and the company standards
- Will perform user, workflow and scenario testing
- Will advocate for the user; provide good argumentation and feedback to the development teams
- Will work closely with the software developers to design product specifications
- Will write and maintain test specifications
- Will write and execute automated test procedures
- Will work with a team of quality engineers and software engineers in order for your feedback to meet also business objectives and technical considerations. You need to be able to communicate clearly and make well-founded decisions
For this job we are searching for people with:
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
- 2 to 3 years of industry experience, at least 2 years experience in quality assurance
- Ability to understand and interpret product specifications
- Good problem solving and diagnostic skills
- Familiar with various automated testing tools (JUnit, JMeter, Selenium) and procedures. Familiarity with performance testing (load, stress) represents a plus
- Proficient in at least one scripting language
- Knowledge of service-oriented architectures and web technologies (HTTP, Java/ PHP/ .NET, etc )
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Experience working with bug-tracking applications is a must
- Excellent communication skills
