Within HP's Global Procurement organization, the eSolutions team is responsible for sustaining and developing world class procurement solutions that drive improvement in organization efficiency and effectiveness. eSolutions works closely with the IT team to ensure Global Procurement gets the highest return on its IT investment. This includes managing a reliable, high performing procurement platform environment and developing new, innovative solutions. eSolutions also works closely with Commodity teams, Regions, and Procurement Operations to ensure business requirements successfully integrate into technology solutions. This team plays a pivotal role in enabling GP objectives to achieve significant savings and deliver new value to HP.
We are currently seeking Quality Assurance (QA) Testing Lead responsible for executing the use of standard test practices across procurement solutions to ensure applications perform as expected. This role will work closely with eSolutions Operations, New Business Innovation, and IT to coordinate and support QA test needs across projects. This position includes the following responsibilities:
-Functional QA Testing - performs QA testing, writes test plans and scripts
-User Acceptance Testing - Writes test plans and scripts, coordinates UAT (User Acceptance Testing) test process
-Test Environment - Implements environment readiness plan with support and/or IT
-Business Use Cases - Works closely with analysts and design to review use cases
-Testing Automation - Conducts automated tests for QA and UAT
-Test reporting against quality metrics
Bachelor's (undergraduate) degree or equivalent experience
3+ years in Quality Assurance Management or similar management position
Testing skills
Good orientation in IT
Ability to prioritize variety of tasks
Proven methods for successful time estimating and management
Communication, both written and verbal (such as clear expression of thoughts, solid technical writing, successful presentations, and effective QA document writing)
Demonstrable ability to understand new concepts and complex procedures and to logically analyze those procedures to identify potential problem areas
Proven experience using a variety of software packages including in-depth exposure to industry standard automation tools.
Proven experience in working with automated testing tools, preferably Mercury
Proven experience with one or more advance technologies (such as relational databases, client/server applications or object oriented technologies)
Fluency in English
