Do you want to be part of a young and growing software company? We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist for the Stratinis development team in Bucharest. You will be part of the team working on our enterprise class soft-ware for price and discount management.
This is a new position due to expansion, specialising in manual and automated testing of web applications and interfaces.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Developing test plans, test cases, and testing estimates alongside the pro-ject manager.
• Tracking bugs, running functional tests, identifying defects, and validating bug fixes.
• Working closely with all project team members to ensure that all applica-tions receive a satisfactory level of testing.
• Investigating and providing solutions to customer problems alongside the project manager.
• Ensuring that projects conform to specified functional and technical re-quirements supplied
• Ensuring that technical best practice, creative standards and guidelines are adhered to
• Configuration testing, functionality testing and system testing
Skills/ Candidate Requirements:
• 2+ years as individual contributor in software development team, as tester or developer
• Experience in usage of automated test tools, ideally Visual Studio Team System.
• A strong commitment to quality.
• English read, spoken and written
• Strong user of Microsoft Visual Studio 2005. Preference to candidates with at least 1 year’s experience in Visual Studio Team System.
• Ability to function well both independently and as a team member
• Project-focused attitude, ability to work with a team.
• Demonstrable ability to learn.
• Positive attitude and self-motivated.
