RESPONSABILITATI

You will be responsible for leading a specific testing team that works on pre-release wireless games by verifying functionality, data content, performance, usability/playability, platform compatibility and also to offer support to Project Manager in managing these activities when required.

Manage directly or indirectly a scale team of testers varying between 2 and 15.
Interface with the immediate team, affiliated test teams and studio partners.
Work closely with the management team.
Develop and maintain relationships with external partners.
Provide mentoring and counseling to assigned junior staff
Oversee testing coverage for the entire span of a project, across multiple platforms.
All game tester tasks
Understanding all testing practices, as well as internal and external standards, and teaching them to everyone on the team. Offering training and support for new testers.
Creation of test plans and necessary checklists and documentation to ensure exhaustive testing of EA titles
Contact with Production to ensure satisfaction on both ends whenever required
Reviewing work done by respective team (Daily Status Reports, checklists, bug entry, etc.), and maintaining a high level of team performance.
Providing support and reports on team efficiency whenever requested by direct manager.
Creating and developping automation scripts and workflows
Identifying key aspects for testing new developped game engines, modules, etc.

The working contract is on determined period.


CERINTE

Strong understanding of mobile standards, especially on J2ME and Mac (iPhone). Knowledge of other platforms is a plus (BREW, Android, WinCE, etc).
Advanced understanding of the game development process and superior proficiency in QA methodology, certification requirements and test design theory.
Proficient at compiling daily reports to QA management and the development teams.
Solid ability to make independent decisions on test processes and personnel situations.
Ability to assess and prioritize personal and team responsibilities.
Experience working in a certain QA department is a plus (Catalog, Frontline, Deployment)
Good communication skills – perfect English skills both verbal and writing
Good Planning skills and financial knowledge
Sharp attention to detail
Willingness and ability to remain focused in a team-oriented environment
Self driven person, team player.
Aptitude to learn quickly and effectively
Superb work ethic
Savvy with mobile technology and current trends
Passion for video games and gaming industry
Good PC knowledge, as well as working very efficiently with Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project.
Programming knowledge and experience is preffered (especially scripting).
Test Automation scripting knowledge, direct to consummer and promotional packages are a plus
Working knowledge of mobile devices and game industry is preferred
