We are searching for a colleague for the following position:
QA Engineer for Database Development
in our Bucharest team.
What will you do?
You will….
…plan, design, develop and execute different types of tests for our business systems;
…design regression, functional and non-functional tests for new system releases and automate them as much as possible;
…conduct white-box and black-box testing, report the software faults and track the bug reports;
…work closely with the development team to investigate and solve major software incidents;
…review the technical documentation for accuracy;
And, most of all, you will be a part of our young and dynamic team.
If you have/are:
…development and QA experience;
…good development skills in SQL scripting and good knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems;
…good development skills in Java, J2EE;
…good knowledge of web services testing (SOA) and test automation;
…experience with continuous integration (Hudson, Maven);
…know how to read a system specification, to understand the purpose, the structure of a system or database and the areas to be tested;
…know how to assess the quality of software by measuring the relevant factors: testability, correctness, reliability, usability, maintainability, reusability;
…highly motivated, self-driven and interested in Quality Assurance;
…knowledge in using and scripting on Unix/Linux shells;
…very good communication skills and a great team player;
…fluent in English (both written and spoken);
Would be a plus:
…experience in working with/in a business systems department;
…ISTQB certification;
…experience with tools like: SoapUI, JMeter, TestLink, Bugzilla, Jira;
…test management experience.
…basic networking knowledge and HTML and XML knowledge;
…basic usage of version control systems (Subversion);
…good knowledge of German language (both written and spoken).
