Assurance of high quality in S/W products and services through mandatory quality inspection points;
Development, introduction and continuous support of effective S/W development processes;
Manage and train staff in process methodologies.
The ideal candidate should hold a university degree in Science or Engineering with a commitment to quality assurance. An advanced degree related to quality management will be considered an asset. A previous experience in S/W Engineering is highly recommended.
Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Systems;
Knowledge of Total Quality Management principles;
Working experience in QA departments for at least one year;
Familiarization with SW Testing, Configuration Management, Project Management, SW Metrics and SW Development Methodologies will be considered a plus;
Knowledge of Process Capability Models like CMMI will be considered as a plus;
Working experience in a software engineering company would be an asset;
Knowledge of English at an advanced level is essential. Knowledge of French will be considered an asset;
Experience in using MS Office;
Proactive attitude;
Customer-oriented with strong communication skills;
Competence in handling several tasks simultaneously;
Self motivation.
