• Identify and implement appropriate QA testing policies and procedures
• Monitor and update of quality documents, procedures, work instructions, forms, raw material specifications, packaging, in-process products and finished products
• Conduct monthly GMP, HACCP and GFSI internal audits/inspections
• Participate in suppliers audits
• Keep current on knowledge of all food and feed safety regulations and laws
• Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering or Chemistry
• 5+ experience in quality - food Industry
• Experienced management and training skills
• Experience in internal/suppliers auditing desired
• The position requires an individual with extensive knowledge in food processing, quality assurance principals, and food regulations
• Knowledge of Global Food Safety Initiatives (GFSI) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP)
• Must understand and be able to implement principles of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)
