Reporting directly to the Team Lead, the QA Tester’s role is to test mobile phone games throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure that all functional, certification and game design features are thoroughly tested.
- Achieve high standard of testing on every build
- Ensure all issues are found and reported properly
- Ensure all certification requirements, functional areas and game balancing are tested for all relevant carriers/devices
- Provide regular reports to the team lead
- Write and update test plans as well as milestone documentation
- Adjust test coverage to meet quality goals under time constraints
- Train and mentor new starts and junior tester to ensure that they are able to meet the targets defined in the induction plan
- Document all bugs in the bug database following the I-play and customer standards
- Keep the build status in the repository updated
- On absence of the Team lead, provide answers and support to project related questions and enquiries.

The ideal applicant will have previous experience in Software Testing and a good grasp of full software lifecycle. They will have excellent communication skills (both verbally and written) to communicate daily with technical and non-technical people (e.g. developers, managers and customers) and expected to produce clear concise and accurate documentation to a high standard. They must also have the ability to work well within a small and dedicated team
and an interest in mobile phone games and a good grasp of playing these games.
