The job contains software tests for Merchandise and Customer related systems, like: Merchandise Management Systems, POS Systems, Customer Information Systems or SAP based logistic systems (MGI own development).
Further contents:
- Build and perform manual test cases for assigned applications
- Use the Mercury Quality Center as the main platform for test execution and test documentation
- Build test automation scripts with the test automation tool Mercury QuickTest Professional and eCatt
- Run the scripts and analyse the test results
- Perform checking environments according to Quality Assurance standards
- Successful completed degree of information technology respectively business information technology or corresponding professional experience knowledge of test methodology and test procedures
- Programming knowledge (C/C++ and Java)
- Strong knowledge of SQL and UNIX scripting
- Fluent in English – mandatory
- High degree of operational readiness
- Organisational talents and enthusiasm
Would be an advantage:
- Experience in using test tools like Mercury Quality Center
- ISTQB Software Testing certification
- Experience in development processes NCR Teradata
- Experience in ETL (Oracle ODI) and Microstrategy
