Scope of
Responsibilities/Expectations:
The selected candidate will join of the R&D SW team ensuring the quality of the communication stacks and applications on different Freescale platforms.
The main responsibilities will be:
- creating the software system test plans,
- creating test case specification using testing techniques,
- to deploy and execute automated test scripts,
- to analyze the test results and to report any nonconformity,
- to collaborate with the development team in the process of reproducing and analyzing the reported software issues
Requirements:
• university degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Automatics and Industrial Control, Electronics, Cybernetics)
• good command of a scripting language like Python
• good knowledge of networking protocols
• knowledge of ANSI C programming language
The following would be a plus:
• usage of networking testing equipment/analyzers
• understanding of communication protocols specifications (MAC/network levels, USB)
• usage of configuration management tools
• previous experience in developing test cases against specifications/requirements
