Our client is a leading American software development company, specialized in Business Intelligence solutions.
- Leading and assuming responsibility for various QA projects
- Review technical and business documents, provide feedback
- Develop a good understanding of business rules for testing assignments
- Creating and maintaining a comprehensive project Test Plan
- Creating and maintaining project Test Schedule, negotiating with Project Manager / Development Manager
- Lead and participate in creating and maintaining project Test Cases, based on analysis of technical and business documents
- Prioritize and assign tasks to the QA team members, monitor execution status
- Support testers by reviewing work and providing feedback
- Understand and negotiate project bugs severity / priority
- Report on progress, alerting QA Manager / development team to emerging issues and concerns
- Work with the QA Manager to improve QA and company processes
- Monitor and report on process adherence
- Periodic after-hours responsibility might be required
- Proficiency in English a must
- 2+ years relevant industry experience
- Proactive, sharp, well organized
- Excellent interpersonal skills required
- Excellent oral and writing communication skills
- Proven leadership skills
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Working knowledge of QA methodologies
- Generic Black-Box testing
- Functional testing
- System testing

- Negative testing
- Performance testing
- Good understanding of Windows, UNIX, environments
- Testing Automation experience
- Database knowledge
- Working knowledge: Oracle § DB/2 experience as an advantage
- Working knowledge: SQL, PL/SQL
- Programming knowledge/experience as an advantage
