-plan, design, develop and execute different types of tests for our web-based products;
-design regression, functional and non-functional (like performance, security, usability) tests for new system releases;
-write the test report and test concept for project;
-conduct white box test, report the software faults and track the bug reports;
-work closely with the development team to investigate and solve major software incidents;
-review the technical documentation for accuracy.
If you have:
-at least 1 year QA experience;
-knowledge how to read a system specification to understand the purpose and structure of the system;
-knowledge how to look at a system and its specification and from these understand the areas to be tested;
-knowledge how to assess the quality of software by measuring the relevant factors: testability, correctness, reliability, usability, maintainability, reusability, speed, scalability, stability;
-experience in applying black-box test deduction methods like equivalence class analysis
knowledge how to describe difficult behaviors of a software system;
-basic networking knowledge and HTML and XML knowledge;;
-BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
-highly motivated, self-driven and interested in Quality Assurance;
-ability to look behind the usual things;
-very good communication skills and a great team player;
-fluent in English (both written and spoken).
Would be a plus:
-experience with an automated testing tool (e.g.SeleniumIDE, JMeter, etc.);
-ISTQB certification;
-development skills in JavaScript, PHP, Java;
-experience with continuous integration (Hudson, Maven).
