....will work within a team devoted to implementing and maintaining a portion of the application code for the company\'s product.
Key responsibilities include:
- Write and maintain detailed test plans;
- Hand-test applications thoroughly and over a wide range of conditions;
- Write and run regression test scripts;
- Review and reproduce bugs and other software issues;
- Enter and manage reported bugs in the bug tracking system “Knowledge Base (KB)”;
- Maintain the test lab, which contains machines and disc images for testing applications under; different operating systems;
- Fluency in both spoken and written English;
- 2 years of professional experience with formal software application testing methods;
- Strong technical aptitude and experience testing database application software;
- Ability to translate functional specifications into test plans and to test for the business needs underlying those specifications;
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated;
- Ability to clearly communicate and document software bugs so that they are easily reproducible by the development team;
- Willingness to take on new challenges;
- Exceptional critical thinking with a high level of motivation to learn;
- Proven ability to take ownership of projects and responsibilities;
- Ability to communicate effectively with product teams and general engineering staff; ability to build positive relationships across the organization;
- Strong ability to successfully manage concurrent deliverables on time and with quality within fast-paced environment and under deadlines;
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Test, testing CAD software, and testing internationalized software a plus;
