QA Engineer for Mail & Media Products
in our Bucharest team.
What will you do?
You will . . .
... Be responsible for planning and conduction of all quality assurance measures for products under test
... Be responsible for quality risk assessment for products
... Review concepts, requirement specifications and technical documentation for accuracy
... Design regression, functional, performance, integration tests for systems under test
... Be responsible for the documentation of test plans, test cases, defects and test reports
... Be responsible for corresponding roll-out recommendations for products
... Provide feedback from your daily work for the deduction of measures to continuously optimize the quality of our products
. . . Write automated test cases using Selenium, Java and jUnit for front-end testing
. . . Write performance tests for front-end and back-end modules using jMeter
. . . Write test frameworks where appropriate in order to optimize the test cases automation
. . . Use frameworks developed by programmers in order to write integration tests and unit tests for back-end modules
. . . Document your work in comments and wiki pages
. . . Organize your tests to ensure functionality coverage
. . . Integrate your tests with continuous integration servers
. . . Report the bugs found by the tests in Bugzilla
. . . Transport your requests for new functionality in test frameworks to developers.
If you have/are:
... BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
... Experience in software quality assurance
... Knowledge of performance testing, preferable with jMeter
... Know how to read a system specification to understand the purpose and structure of the system
... Experience in applying black-box test deduction methods like equivalence class analysis
... Knowledge of tests in the different test levels (component, integration, system and acceptance testing)
... General computer knowledge, for example: SQL, html, java script, java, web services
... Experience in using specific QA tools
... Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
... Highly motivated, self-driven and interested in Quality Assurance
... Very good communication skills and a great team player
Would be a plus:
...ISTQB certification;
...Knowledge of German language;
...Previous development experience in Java/J2EE;
...Knowledge of jUnit, maven and ant;
. . . Knowledge of web protocols (CarDav, WebDav, SOAP, JSON);
...Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. JavaScript, JScript)
. . . Knowledge of version control systems (Subversion);
