•Design, develop, document, execute and maintain test cases and scripts to ensure that the projects deliverables meet the project requirements and product specifications.
•Verify and validate software deliveries, follow testing procedures and document the completion of testing in test reports.
•Use customer oriented criteria to identify high risk areas, prioritize work and developed End 2 End test cases scenario.
•Develop, maintain and execute manual and automated test scripts.
•Apply strong analytical, problem solving, and judgment skill to balance delivery content, quality and timing.
•Ability to find, record and track software defects as well as reproduce issues logged through the internal bug tracking tool.
•Report and provide to the Project Manager regular status updates on test progress, troubleshooting analysis, documentation and test related metrics.
•Stay current with associated technology progress in the marketplace and grow skills.
Functional skills:
•Assumed Quality Assurance role with manual and automated software testing, including functional, integration, regression and user acceptance testing related to Software applications.
•Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and QA processes.
•Experience with Agile Software Development Methodology
•Proficiency in translating requirements into subsequent test criteria
•Familiar with Software Configuration Management and Continuous Integration processes
•Good understanding of application business rules in a distributed client-server network architecture.
Technical skills:
•Expertise with User Interface test automation (QTP, SWTBot or equivalent).
•Expertise in at least one scripting language (e.g.: UNIX shell, Perl, Python).
•Experience using defect tracking systems (e.g.: Mantis, Test Director, Bugzilla)
•Experience working with at least one database (e.g.: Oracle, SQLServer) and PLSQL.
•Experience working in Java and Java Applications.
•Knowledge of XML, and XLS technology
•Knowledge of B2B/EAI applications and standard protocols (e.g.: AS2, RosettaNet, ebXML)
•Understanding of security algorithms and concepts (PKI infrastructures, SSL, S/Mime)
•Understanding of basic web application architecture
•Strong technical and analytical skills.
•Proficient in written and verbal English language.
