Design, develop and execute test plans to cover functionality and performance of various test & measurement products related to LTE/EPC technology. Track test progress, report results, forecast risk areas. Work closely with developers and Senior QA engineers in developing new products and innovative test scenarios. Set up automation test environment to improve efficiency.
-Very good knowledge of networking standards such as Ethernet and IPv4/v6
-Thorough understanding of Layer2/3/4 implementation structures, layer interfaces, frame/packet format etc. Knowledge of routing protocols is desired
-Strong knowledge of Layer7 protocols (HTTP, FTP, POP3, P2P, IPTV, VOIP)
-Good knowledge of GTP protocol would be considered an advantage
-Understanding and experience on IP routing, firewalls, load balancing and/or network security. Ability to install, configure & debug networking devices (Cisco, Juniper)
-Ability to understand business and functional requirements
-Strong written and verbal communication skills (English).
-Strong familiarity with MS Word, Excel and GUI-based software applications.
-The ability to work independent, thorough and accurate, following the department process and procedures. Commitment to provide high-quality output in a fast-paced environment.
-Highly organized and possessing a keen analytical and structured approach to problem solving and testing.
-CCNA and/or CCNP certification is a plus.
