The position reports to the Department Manager and is in charge with the purchase of materials and services for investment projects which are supposed to be developed in Bucharest or in the country. These projects are coordinated from Bucharest.
Assimilates the purpose of the investment project
- Issues the inquiries according to the company¿s procedures
- Collects the offers, draws up providers¿ ¿BEV - bid evaluation list¿ and takes part to the choice of contractors or direct subcontractors
- Offers technical and commercial support for the conclusion of agreements or order issuing
- Drafts agreements or orders
- Organizes and develops the existing vendor database
- Develops and maintains a database for prices of all materials, equipments and services related to the works of execution or maintenance of buildings
- Implements all the steps taken by the management bodies of the company with respect to the project allocatted to him/her
- Follows up the payments towards providers
- Submits reports towards the company's management
- Graduate from University of Construction, Engineering or Architecture
- At least 3 years work experience on a site
- At least 5 years relevant experience in a similar position
- Ability to create and organize databases
- Communication and negotiating skills
- Planning skills would be a plus
- Operational knowledge in MS Office, AutoCad; Primavera knowledge would be a plus
- Proficiency in English
