The Purchasing Assistant is responsible for providing effective and efficient purchasing services, entering departmental requisitions into SAP, as well as performing other related duties in the Purchasing department.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in English and Dutch
- College (3 years) or university graduate (students are also accepted)
- Minimum of two (2) years of purchasing experience is required
- Experience in operating general office equipment, including personal computer, photocopier and fax machine
- Knowledge in SAP represents an advantage
- Ability to work independently and to complete assignments with minimal instructions
- Ability to communicate with all levels of staff, clients and vendors with tact
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and suppliers
