- The Purchasing Assistant negotiates and builds relationship with vendors;
- Arranges vendors contracts, bargains for best costs and observes quality of purchased services eventually with the help of purchasing executive;
- Accepts and scrutinizes vendor bids and proposals;
- Maintains an accurate database about vendors and providers, products and distributors;
- Develops and implements new incentive schemes to increase the loyalty of IIS panelist; proposes various solutions to calculate points to award various categories of survey's respondents;
- Ensures management of incentives & gifts budget;
- Communicate with staff on progress of orders; make various analysis.
- Studies: Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology, Market Research, Marketing, Economics;
- Min. 1 year relevant experience;
- Must be extremely detail oriented, dependable, analytical and able to keep up in a fast paced environment;
- Ability to negotiate with vendors;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Experience in purchasing with product knowledge;
- Fluency in English both spoken and written;
- Ability to apply knowledge of market research;
- A proactive and flexible person;
- Results oriented, dynamic and self-motivated person;
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office Package.
