Objectives of the job:
- Purchaser Material keeps optimal stock level for whole range of raw material as well as purchased accessories
- Purchaser controls total level of stock from financial level point of view, controls rotation of mate-rial and monitors stock consumption according to FIFO logic
- All these tasks are executed with respect to time supply which can fluctuate between 6 - 12 weeks.
Main tasks:
- Control of material on stock and its rotation, potential reservations and booking (Immediate ATP value)
- Check sales forecast for following 3 months.
- Check history of sales and standard deviation of sales in last 12 months
- Calculate from a.m. data expected consumption for next 6-12 week period
- Place purchase order and arrange delivery from supplier.
- Bachelor or Master degree
- Experience in similar position - minimum 3 years
- Experience in production field - advantage
- Good knowledge of material market in Europe
- Very good communication skills
- Flexibility, adaptability, initiative, analytical and synthetic skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to handle several responsibilities at the same time and to meet deadlines
- Very good command of english language
- Very good PC knowledge
- Driving licence.

Due to the strategy of the company focused on growth on Central and Eastern Europe, Ruukki will becomes a local manufacturer of metal-based construction materials in Romania in 2007 through his in-vestment plan of EUR 35 million. The plant will be built in municipality of Giurgiu, about 20 km from Bucharest (near Bolintin Deal village) and will cover the metal-based production from profiling and steel frame to sandwich panels, roofing, cladding profiles and liner trays.
According to this extraordinary expansion we are currently looking for the outstanding professionals to join our team covering a wide range of fields and positions for the following departments: SALES, MARKETING, FINANCE, HUMAN RESOURCES, MANUFACTURING, QUALITY, LOGISTICS, PURCHASING.
